By accessing or using Business Pulse ("the Service"), a product of Business Pulse AI ("we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Business Pulse is a read-only business intelligence dashboard that connects to your QuickBooks Online account to display financial data, performance metrics, and AI-powered insights. The Service is designed to help business owners and managers visualize and analyze their financial data.

3. Read-Only Access

The Service operates on a strictly read-only basis. When you connect your QuickBooks Online account, we only request permission to read your financial data. We do not and cannot:

• Create, modify, or delete any transactions in your QuickBooks account
• Make payments or transfer funds on your behalf
• Modify your chart of accounts, invoices, or any other QuickBooks data
• Access your banking credentials or payment information

4. User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

5. Data Usage and Storage

Financial data retrieved from QuickBooks is stored securely in our database to power your dashboard. This data is:

• Encrypted in transit using TLS/SSL
• Stored with user-level isolation — you can only access your own data
• Used solely for the purpose of generating your dashboard and AI insights
• Never sold, shared, or provided to third parties for marketing purposes

6. AI-Powered Features

The Service includes AI-powered analysis and chatbot features. These features provide insights and recommendations based on your financial data. AI-generated content is for informational purposes only and should not be considered financial, legal, or tax advice. Always consult with qualified professionals for important business decisions.

7. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, features, and underlying technology, is owned by Business Pulse AI. Your financial data remains your property at all times.

8. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any damages arising from the use of the Service, including but not limited to inaccuracies in data display, service interruptions, or decisions made based on information provided by the Service.

9. Disconnection and Data Deletion

You may disconnect your QuickBooks account at any time through the dashboard settings. Upon disconnection, your synced data will be preserved for your continued use. If you wish to have your data permanently deleted, please contact us directly.

10. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be effective when posted on this page. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
